Student arrested because of something he wrote in an assignment

A 16-year-old student from Summerville, South Carolina, was arrested on his second day at school because he wrote something unusual in a paper he gave to his teacher.

After his teacher read what he had written (“I killed my neighbor’s pet dinosaur”), he had the school call the police but not his parents. The teenager was arrested last Tuesday, and the police searched his bag and locker, looking for a gun, but they didn’t find any.

Can you imagine being arrested by the police on your second day at school !?
