At least, there is something for which the French are liked : their food. Swedish director Lasse Hallström likes making movies about food and love (Have you seen Chocolat, with Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche ?), and his latest movie seems to illustrate that inclination. An American movie, shot in France, with Indian, English, French and Canadian actors. It’s a movie about differences, and different cultures, and how people overcome their prejudices by finding what they have in common. Sharing their passions.
In the USA, films are released on Fridays, so this one will be released in theaters tomorrow. In France, it will be released on September 10.
